Thank you!

Thank you to all of the voters who made an effort to have their voices heard. Thank you to everyone who helped me and others during this election process. Thank you to everyone who threw their hat in the ring and ran for Town council.

One of the reasons that I ran for council was, because after my experience during the drafting of the Home Rule Charter, I became a believer in districts. I can’t tell you how many times I heard from residents in other parts of Erie… “I didn’t know that was happening in that part of town”. Unfortunately, districts don’t work if residents don’t run for council, so here I am.

Finally, thank you to those residents who put their trust in me by selecting me to serve as one of their representatives! If you have suggestions, observations, and/or ideas, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

I look forward to serving all of the residents of Erie!

What's on my radar:

  • Improving existing traffic inconsistencies (i.e. signs and pedestrian crossings) and hopefully help to address high accident areas
  • Re-establishing the 'rainy day' fund and have it be available not just for employee retention during an economic slowdown, but also possibly use it for unforeseen major repairs or asset replacements (one example is the splash pad at Lehigh Park)
  • Historical items from Erie's past are spread all around Town, in the hands of private collectors and public organizations. Some waiting to find a proper home. The Erie Historical Society and the Town of Erie Historic Preservation Advisory Board are groups with highly dedicated members, but artifacts and records from Erie's past are still not finding a suitable home for preservation. A goal would be to help this process and preservation.
  • Sound financial planning and budgeting to minimize the impact to the pocketbooks of fellow residents for major capital expenditures, including replacement of our aging roads
  • Improving the facilities at the Erie Municipal Airport (EIK)
  • Increased support for Town events, including Erie Air Fair and the annual Arbor Day/Earth Celebration
